web application to create ads
Project essence
This is an experimental project. I had the idea of creating a web service that helps you quickly create a missing pet advertisement. To test the idea, I am interviewing users.
Objectives
As part of the pet project, I want to study the behaviour of users who have ever lost a pet. I want to identify the needs of this segment of users and how to help others in the future.
User interview and flow
I have found people who have had experience of finding pets who have gone missing. Several respondents had similar behaviour.
Analogue analysis
Most ads have no structure. The authors do not try to analyze the situation and look at the ad through the eyes of a passerby. There is a lot of unnecessary information or uninformative headlines. Photos of pets are not always of good quality.
I realized that you have to take into consideration that ads are not only posted on the Internet, but also printed on a printer. Authors do not always have the option of high-quality color printing.
Animal search sites don't always work well because the information between them is not synchronized. I analyzed about 10 search sites. Many have dead ends that do not take into account the context (panic). somewhere it requires registration, which also takes time. On some sites the information is outdated. there is no feedback on how many people will see the ad, and in a search situation this plays a key role.

Project characters
In this project, the characters help build trust in the service. In the future, the characters can be placed on advertising banners and for volunteer projects. The line of characters can be developed by adding other pets and hosts.

Design solution
The site is split into two blocks. The right part of the interface is the application form that the user completes, and the left part is an illustration of the ad that is received. The ad is fix while scrolling, so that the user always sees the result.
You can add a pet photo to your ad. It loads automatically if you drag and drop the picture into your browser.
The reward block motivates you to help find pets. I described why this is important, but made it up to the user.

There are two different layouts: one for horizontal and one for vertical photos.
